Primary Objective:  Create a beautiful shaded garden that embraces the house’s large modern windows while being able to cope with the family of deer that call this neck of the woods home.  

Approach:  The beautiful modern house with large windows called for a layered garden to embrace existing views. Large evergreen trees were left in place to create a shady canopy.  The use of ground covers around the pathways with larger specimens tucked father into the garden keep the visitor searching for new vistas just around the corner.  The modern concrete walkway with inset lighting leads you gently through the shady glen to the front door.
